Manually add credit cards
Ricardo Elizondo
Please add the ability to manually add credit cards and their balances for unsupported cards. Aside from expanding support to existing credit card lenders (i.e.: Self Credit is a credit builder card, a secured CC, issued by Lead Bank). As this is a credit builder/monitor card/account, I think adding these types of credit cards/banks and the ability to monitor those would be extremely beneficial and eliminate the need for multiple apps to monitor. Having only one app means more visits and time within your app on the business side, so I think it would be a great addition. Also color or theme/customizations to the app or profile may make it easier or user friendly on a viewer level. I think having a user interface that is custom or easier to read makes it easier for me to manage. Thank you.

If a new credit card is not in MaxReward system. Let us at least add the card details to our portfolio to help track utilization rate.

I have a new credit card from a local credit union that isn’t registered in the system. I want add a nameless card to my portfolio where I can manually type in the total line of credit and amount still own to track my utilization rate. This would be a useful feature in my opinion.

Emily Bingham This should definitely be reopened. Not being able to add cards like the PayPal debit card (with multiple 5% cash back categories to select from) is this apps biggest weakness. That alone leads me to use competitor apps.

Emily Bingham Why mark this as complete when you still haven't done it

Liang : Sorry, I must have misinterpreted what you were wanting, and thought this was a suggestion for adding unlinked cards.
Liang
Emily Bingham Basically, being able to add any unlinked card and label it with a limit and benefits.
For example, Redstone FCU card, I'd want to add it, assign it % categories, and my $5000 limit with it.
Otherwise, this app is quite useless if we have no way to add chunks of cards that aren't supported.
Liang
Emily Bingham Do you have a discord or LinkedIn we can discuss this more on?

Liang : You can reach out to me at support@maxreward.com and we can discuss there, if you'd like!

People have been asking for this for over three years. This should be a quick add to the application. Please add this feature. Add the ability to set percentages on categories. I have the Redstone FCU Visa that gives me 5% on dining and gas. It gives me 3% of six categories. The "Best Card Categories" is almost useless at this point. Thank you

In v2 I worked around this issue by manually adding some card I didn’t have and then manually adding/changing the cash back categories to match the card I wanted to add that wasn’t in the system. The cards I added like this are still in my account in v3 but I can’t add any new ones because v3 doesn’t let us customize cards.
I heard from support that they’re (finally) planning to bring back the ability to manually customize cash back categories and % for cards. So hopefully that will at least provide that workaround again 🤞🏻.

I want to add a card thats not available to add, why use this app for free version or get gold membership if you can't view all of my credit cards, not good.
Liang
Seriously, this would be one of the best additions to this app that would make me never change to a different one. Once this is added, I can manually input cards like my Redstone FCU Visa Sig. and Paypal MC with their credit limits so that my total credit limit is accurately portrayed

For cards that can’t connect like citi AA and citizens why don’t you make a manual feature to add info so that I can see overall picture of my credit cards in addition to a way to show benefits that can be added manually until you get these banks connected. This would make app so much better.
